Professional photographers to meet in Jinan, Shandong
Source: Xinhuanet [2009-06-15 16:26:17]The exhibition will be held at the first International Professional Photographers Convention by the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) Photo Asia, sponsored by PPA and the Jinan municipal government.
The convention will feature work by PPA members from 54 countries and by 18 Chinese professional photographers.
The prints, categorized into art, commerce, portraiture and documentary, will compete for gold, silver, bronze medals and honorable mentions.
The PPA, founded in 1880, is the world's largest non-profit association for professional photographers. It has 25,000 members and 200 affiliated organizations in 54 countries.
