Over 1,000 Goddess Mazu devotees from Taiwan and Fujian provinces, gather for a
pageant folklore ceremony of street-stepping to worship the Chinese Goddess bless-
ing the fisherman over sea, during a grand Wenling Mazu Fair at the Heavenly Goddess
Palace in Quanzhou, southeast China's Fujian Province, Oct. 29, 2009. Series of activities
including Xun'an Street-Stepping, antique sacrificial ceremony, photos exhibition on Mazu belief,
Quanzhou folk handicrafts exhibition, etc, take places all together in celebration of Mazu Belief being
honored onto the board of additions to the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritages.
