Outdoor fair of Beijing Opera masters

Jingsi Garden, known as the biggest private garden in the south of the lower reaches of Yangtze River, celebrated its 6th birthday last weekend. The founder and owner, Mr. Chen Jingen, invited Major General Li Jinguang, along with several celebrities from Shanghai, such as calligraphers and Chinese painting artists Zhou Huijun, Chen Peiqiu, Beijing Opera artist Li Bingshu, to 2009 Jingsi Garden Exhibition of Calligraphy and Chinese Paintings of Shanghai Artists, and Outdoor Fair of Beijing Opera Masters. The artists gave their art works to Mr. Chen Jingen as gifts, and artists of Beijing Opera, Shanghai Opera and Shaoxing Opera delivered an excellent performance as the climax of the celebration. Combined with the elegance of the Garden, the joy and happiness brought much more glamour to this classic private garden of modern times.
